SOUTHPORT-based claims management company Plantec Holdings has been shortlisted for two prestigious British Insurance Awards – the highest accolade that can be given to insurance-related businesses in the UK.
Plantec Holdings is one of the stars of the Southport business community, with in excess of 120 employees and expanding quickly. It boasts one of the UK’s largest and most well-equipped motorcycle repair centres, located in the Midlands and has acquired a new 24,500 sq ft distribution centre near its existing repair centre, housing an ever increasing motorbike fleet and work force to meet with the demands of the market.
It is Plantec Holdings emphasis on service that has led to the two shortlist awards for the British Insurance Awards 2010 in the categories ‘Claims Initiative of the Year’ and ‘Service Provider of the Year’.
In both cases, Plantec Holdings’ unique approach to providing the very best in service while at the same time driving down the cost of claims for insurers is what has caught the judges eyes and achieved the much sought-after short-list for the awards which take place on July 7th at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Plantec Holdings Managing Director Lee Evans said: “We are delighted to have achieved the short-list in these two categories that emphasise excellent service and initiative – that is what we strive to deliver in our business and is a key ingredient for our growth. To achieve a short-list is a big endorsement to all the staff at Plantec Holdings and how well they do their jobs, well done to them all.”
Now in their 16th year, the British Insurance Awards are based on a partnership between the judges, the magazines involved, the sponsors and the organisers. The awards showcase top class performance and innovation, they reward achievement and they raise standards. Success at the Awards has become the benchmark by which the industry judges itself.
