SOUTHPORT based claims management company Plantec Holdings is proud to announce its employee of the year 2008 as IT specialist Chris Reale-Smith, who wins a weekend abroad with a partner and the time off work to enjoy it as well.
Chris came to the head of more than 30-employees who were entered into the competition by senior managers, for his consistent helpful and ‘can do’ attitude. It is the first time Plantec Holdings has organized an Employee of the Year award and the firm is delighted with the interest it has generated. For the last year there has been an employee of the month announced with the top three winning cash prizes and scoring points towards the main yearly prize of an all-expenses holiday abroad to a destination of the winner’s choice. Receiving his award, Southport local Chris said: “I am really proud to have won this prize as the competition was very tough, there are a lot of great people at Plantec Holdings. “I will be taking my girlfriend to Rome and can’t wait. Thank you very much to Plantec Holdings for this prize, it just goes to show that hard work is rewarded by this company.” Plantec Holdings MD Lee Evans said: “Chris has developed both as a person and a team player over the last year using his technical skills to assist in all areas of the business and has been able to deliver on a number of projects taking them from inception to completion both independently and as a key member within the IT team. His hard work and dedication has now been fully recognised by his colleagues throughout the business, well done Chris.”
